MEET TAMMY CASTRO
Tammy Castro knows the struggle of HR technology—because she’s lived it. Before becoming an expert, she was the one navigating HR systems that promised efficiency but often created more headaches.
Now, she’s on a mission to bridge the gap between technology and the people it’s meant to serve.

Tammy’s journey, from her Cleveland roots to traversing the globe, is a testament to the unexpected turns life can take and the unwavering power of faith. She traded late-night bar shifts for the world of HR, where she built a fulfilling career navigating the complexities of HR technology.
But her true calling lies in bridging the gap between systems and souls, reminding us that technology should serve humanity, not overshadow it. With over 30 years of experience and a passion for people, Tammy's writing seeks to inspire faith and purpose in the modern workplace.
This isn't just about software and algorithms; it's about recognizing the inherent value of human connection in an increasingly digital world. Tammy believes that faith and career aren't mutually exclusive, and she empowers leaders to prioritize humanity in their organizations. Through her writing, she blends practical insights with unwavering faith, encouraging readers to find purpose and make a meaningful impact, no matter where their own journey leads.
A Career with Purpose:
Faith, Technology, and the Human Connection
Tammy lives in North Carolina with her husband Santi and—their cat, Cali.
When Tammy steps away from advising, speaking, and leading her team, her energy flows into a life filled with joy, purpose, and connection. An outdoor enthusiast, she loves exploring North Carolina's beautiful hiking trails. At home, fun comes in the form of cornhole or Spicy Farkel showdowns with her husband and hosting friends for shared meals and laughter.

A passionate advocate for wellness, Tammy celebrates her own transformative health journey (and proudly waved goodbye to her muffin top!). This journey deepened as she helped her mother navigate a debilitating disease, learning extensively about potentially harmful elements in our food supply along the way. Faith plays a central role, nurtured through bible studies shared with church friends. For over ten years, she and her husband have actively supported Operation Christmas Child, alongside volunteering for disaster relief with Samaritan's Purse and other groups.
Whether leading her team to excel or serving those in need, Tammy's core belief shines through: love is a powerful, transformative force. Her mission is to share that power, showing how it can uplift and reshape lives everywhere, especially in the workplace.
